8:04 am	Friday Changed backup tapes. Setup 29main, projector, screen, laptop connected to KTCpublic. Talked to Gtreperinas about the setup, will revisit at 8:45am. Setup for IS meeting, laptop, projector. IS meeting, used Skpye to connect to Carrie in Californa, worked well. Reconnected to Carrie for meeting with Carol Anne. Spoke with Elied about remote connection problems with docsopen. I will take the laptop home tonight and test it from my comcast connection. Attended Elliot's baby shower in the library. Gave Jbroom full access to librarysite and folders. Logged into 28sharescan station, it rebooted itself or logged itself off. This time I didn't need to telnet into that station to unlock it. 2:01 pm	Wednesday Changed backup tapes. Called Danka about jams on 28NW. Rebooted 28central sharescan station, had to telnet into ip and port , then log in well still connected on telnet to unlock the terminal. tested a laptop that was vpn'ed for docsopen access, tried for hours to fix the intergration one on and gave up and found a laptop that was properly intergrated. Docsopen, oultlook all worked. Tested some of webtops. Read up auto logins for DM Ran some SQL scripts to remove old remote libraries, fix library name. (Comment on this)

Restarted blackberry services on Russula. Changed backup tapes. Meeting with Carm. Setup for Carm, 29main, computer, projector, screen speakers. 8:32 am	Friday Installed Avaya Softconsole 3.1.1 at reception. Rebooted morchella, abouttime agents locked up, reboot didn't change anything, agents still locking up. Changed backup tapes. Removed maxstor drive from Polyozellus, ran smartstart on Polyozellus, installed OSwin2k server. Went through all the server setup steps, per document#950 "Server Configuration". Organizied shelves in server room and shelf on wall above servers. Made, erased tape for Marguerite, EOM accounting. (Comment on this)

9:30 am	Thursday Investigated Vault permission error on Symantec site. Found Enterprise Vault System Mailbox, gave it permissions on flammulina, local admin on tricholoma and flammulina. Instructed Jbroom on using remote desktop. Instructed Cdawson on setting up VPN and using remote desktop. IS Meeting. Helped Pbeck with using FedEx's website, printing labels. Ran backup job for morchella abouttime, restore data to sparassis to test abouttime move. Helped Mjohnson with connecting wirelessly, connecting to VPN and remote desktop. (Comment on this)

8:34 am	Wednesday Put liberty3 on Verpa, as default website, which is called OWA 2000 on Verpa, tested from Verpa, tested from wrkstn, tested from library, all is good. Created a scheduled task on verpa, under liberty3\hkeep\autopr.exe Help Gtreporinus troubleshoot his VPN connection, using someone's wireless. Tried to release/renes IP, flushdns, telnet to prot 1723? Changed backup tapes. Added Mcrowder to IMS, voicemail/email notification. Helped Jcary setup up laplink for remote access, NAT'ed IP addesses, bore a hole in firewall. Helped Elied with Docsopen remote access. Restored \\russula\market\ktc.net2006 for Amichelle. researched upgrading BEs 3.6-4.1, making a schedule and upgrade plan. Fixed printer 28westb for Aokano. Got Jcary plugged into the network. 8:08 am	Thursday Changed backup tapes. Got airbill number from DHL for Dell and Elied's laptop. Installed blackberry desktop manager and redirector on computer room machine. Uninstalled off Polyozellus: SQL, SQL reporting service, visualstudio.net, .net library. Reset printer 29southA Reset digital sender, next to Paula desk. Gave Jbeatty blackberry, it's running off the redirector on computer room machine. Helped Mhargan with phone manager. Bought Blackberry support, T-support contract with RIM, gets us upgrade to BES 4.1. Sorted out Totality 4 problem, selected database from Mapped drive, instead of drilling down through server name. Downloaded from blackberry, desktop manager 4.0 and BES 3.6 SP4. Installed desktop manager 4.0 on serverroom computer, ran SP4 for BES3.6 on russula. Setup up Jbeatty on BES 3.6. Moved websites: tech, training to polyozellus. Doxey showed me the tone indicator and receiver, punch-down tool and standards to wiring. (Comment on this)

Backed-up "installs" folders, restored them on Polyozellus, maxstor drive. Finished installing visualbasic.net on polyozellus, installed SQL SP3a, installed SQL reporting service on Polyozellus. Helped printing in library. Helped Amichelle with her website, folder managment. Checked out laptops to Jbroom and Jirby. Picked up laptop from Jaustin. Got 28central ecopy(scanning) working, Erik from CopiersNW came out and wasn't able to fix it, Chris from Equitrac was, we manually telnet'ed(opened the connection, I guess) and it worked. 7:41 am	Thursday Changed backup tapes. Ran Tricholoma exchange backup job from Flammulina. Inventoried the DR box. Ordered another blackbox RM399, and 2gig thumb drive. Showed Carm how to view "open file" on servers. Created Diaster Recovery Box Inventory document, #1068 Diaster Recovery meeting. Uninstalled SQL reporting services and visual studio.net/library off gyromitra. Installed .net 2.0 on polyozellus, installed SQL2K, SQL reporting service and visual studio/basic.net on polyozellus, also installed IIS. 28 central, installed sp2, uninstalled sp2, installed sp1, per Erik at copiersnw, no luck, sent him an email. Helped Areber with banner sheets. Installed new screen in 29north, sharescan, works now. Meeting with Carol Anne and Mark from CopiersNW. (Comment on this)

Downloaded and installed .net 2.0 on gyromitra. Re-installed SQL reporting services on Gyromitra. Helped Nrandell and Carm with printing to 28central, error- printing - too many sessions to remote computer? Helped Wcruzen access sentinare.com Installed remoted exchange agent for veritas backup exec on Tricholoma. Changed backup tapes, not flammulina, waiting for reboot of Tricho tonight. Added Maxstor 500gb (465 usable) to polyozellus. Moved all "installs" folders from Gyromitra - Polyozellus\e: maxstor external. Added vault to enterprise admin, rebooted flammulina, VAULT INSTALLED!!!!!!!!! (Comment on this)

Installed IE6 for MSXML, install MDAC 2.8, installed .net 1.1 framework, all on Flammulina all preinstallation requirements for Veritas Vault. Restored m:drive (russula), Angie wanted to start over from yesterday. Downloaded Exchange2K SP3. Installe SP3 and post SP3 rollup on Flammulina Tried to install vault, no luck, installed MS Message Queue. Helped Cweinmann with Virus issues. Safe mode, scan with AVG, scan with symantec, scan with Spybot. Meeting with Carm. Uninstalled IIS from Gyromitra. Changed backup tapes. (Comment on this)

Helped Mfeinburg with remote desktop/vpn from home. Created Veritas Vault service account = vault, gave it login permissions on Exchange and SQL. Added NNTP (IIS) service to Flammulina. 10:12 am	Friday Changed backup tapes. Shutdown Flammulina, keep him off for a few hours, check other event logs. All clear. Look in exchange STMP queues for Romata outbound. Helped Hmullin with printing. Phones, reception's phone somehow checked the "follow me" box to Mhargen's line. I had her uncheck the box, clear out the number and close and open phone manager. Talked to Cori at JodyCoyote about emails not getting through to Wmaas. Our tests worked, looked at Wmaas's rules/filter, there weren't any. Installed IP phone manager 3.1.7 (latest version) on Elied, reception and Mhargan's computers. Talked to Priority computers about failed 4.3 seagate harddrives. (Comment on this)

9:24 am	Thursday Changed backup tapes. Rebooted Amanita, installshield, wasn't working properly. Installed Policy Patrol 4.something, uninstalled, I don't think it was right. Sent off email to redearthsoftware(policypatrol) asking about versions. Broke down setup in 28lobby. Installed powerstrip in Carrie's office. IS Meeting Installed Policy Patrol 3.5 on Amanita. Ask for a quote for another year's mainenance contract with Redearthsoftware. Copied Totality4.0 to installs4 Installed Totality 4.0 on Carrie's laptop. Attended PSALA discussion on desktop rollouts and images. Uninstalled SQL reporting services, uninstalled IIS, both from Gyromitra. Tried new harddrives for morchella, they both failed, tried them on a diferant tray, no luck. (Comment on this)

Updated IPaddresses chart on website and in DR box. Created new "serverfunction" chart, updated website and DR box. Setup for Jbaier in 28lobby, it got canceled, broke down setup. Moved Carrie's machine into Cproctor's old office for training Hmullin tomorrow. Put Hmullin's profile on training machine.
